Children of God, Jesus loves you more than what you can do or give to him. All he wants is your heart, and all the other things will come after. We pray that this week, you will take time to sit at the feet and presence of Jesus and WAIT until he speaks to you. Try it and have faith that he will speak and show up! We love you and we're excited to do our VBS-At-Home with you soon!

June 10:38-42
"Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, 'Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.' But the Lord answered her, 'Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.'"
Jesus wants relationship before service.
If you serve without knowing Him, you become anxious and angry about what other people are not doing.
Focus on hearing him and being near him before you serve.
Sermon Reflection
What are some things God has been speaking to you about? Have you been giving him space to speak to you or are you too busy and distracted with other things?
Are you doing things with Him as a sacrifice to Jesus Himself? Or are you too busy measuring how much you're doing with others to see that He's sitting right with you through it all?
