BOTTOM LINE:

We can forgive others’ mistakes knowing we make mistakes too.

OBJECTIVE: Kids will remember that rather than judging others for their mistakes, we should remember that we have made mistakes too.

SUMMARY:

The religious leaders wanted Jesus to give them permission to punish a woman who had disobeyed God’s laws. They thought they were doing right to punish this woman. However, Jesus reminded them that they were sinful people too. Because we are all sinful, we all need God’s forgiveness.
