1 Samuel 17:47

"All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands."

God is the POSSIBLE in the impossible. God is the LIKELY in the unlikely.

Hello parents and our beloved children!

We greet you with the love and peace of Jesus, with sober and hopeful hearts.

During this time of transition and change, we wanted to create this platform for you and your children. These are days filled with anxiety, chaos, panic, and restlessness. Our world is being shaken. We as a church are being shaken. Our families are being shaken. As we are shaken, what is revealed is a Sure Foundation, our only Living Hope, in Christ alone. More than ever before, we look to the name of this ministry, "Promise Land", to remind us of our Deliverer, the One who keeps His promises. As we transition to meeting online and continuing to teach the Word through blog posts and videos, we press on, holding tightly onto the promise of God as our good Father and as our Salvation in these times of hardship and uncertainty. We press on to be a light in the darkness, a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden. We continue in hope, knowing that He is sovereign over all and that He has seen before and beyond. Let us be encouraged that we are promise-receivers and He is a promise-keeper. Surely, He will see us through. Let us open our eyes in this dark season to see the light of Jesus. Promiseland, let us walk into His promise together in faith. We will get through this, together.

STRUCTURE OF SERVICE:

PROMISELAND (Sunday Service):

  • - We will be pre-recording and uploading the link to the worship + sermon into this page.

  • - There will be complimentary activities that go along with each week's sermon that can be found on the Activities page

AWANA (Friday Service):

  • - We will be sharing a short Bible Study for the children to focus and reflect on into the AWANA page each week.

  • - There will be complimentary activities that go along with each week's sermon that can be found on the Activities page

Activities + Games:

  • - Though we are physically apart, we want to continue to create an interactive space for the children to study the Word of God through Bible games, coloring pages, worksheets, and other activities that can either be printed or enjoyed through a device.

Parent Resources:

  • - These times are cultivating an atmosphere where we are surrounded by our family and children in longer periods of time. So we want to give you resources as parents and encourage you to use "bonding times" to learn the Word together.

Our prayers and intercession are with you.

Please, feel free to reach out to Pastor Becky or myself (Chammy Teacher) if you have any questions and are in need of prayer. We want to stand with you all, whether you are the parent or our students.

Parents, we pray for the nearness of Jesus to be felt in your household and in your minds and hearts. We pray for the mighty hand of God to provide for each of your families in every financial, emotional, mental, and physical need. We pray for His hand to fill and sustain your families with His strength. We pray for comfort of Jesus to carry your burdens and anxieties and to fill you with His peace. We pray for the Holy Spirit to anoint each household with His fire and presence. We pray for the lie and scheme of the enemy to be silenced and destroyed in Jesus name. We proclaim Christ victorious in your homes and your families. Promiseland, we pray for you. God has created you for a time such as this. You are mighty in His Spirit. We pray for the Armor of God to be activated in you as you study and play at home. We pray for Jesus' voice to be so clear to you as you pray, wake, and sleep. We pray that you will become a light to your parents and to your home. We pray that the Ruach in you will lead you in everything that you do and the courage of God to fill you. We pray for all of us, to turn our eyes upon Jesus and find Him as our one and only joy and Source for all things. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Let us hold fast to Him, for He will hold fast to us.

Peace be to you all. See you Sunday.

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Come and see what the LORD has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress."
